Service Project: The UPPER ROOM

The Upper Room runs reading programs both after-school as well as summer camp for children between kindergarten and 3^rd grade.  In a district where reading proficiency scores fall consistently below those of neighboring districts, children who participate in the Upper Room’s reading program consistently read as high as two grade levels above their peers.
